Exceptional financial support
Arizona Teachers Academy
Through the Arizona Teachers Academy at NAU, aspiring teachers from any grade level can earn a full-tuition-and-fees scholarship along with early-career support like instructional coaching and professional development. In exchange, recipients commit to serving in an Arizona public or charter school for the number of years they’re funded.
TEACH grant
The TEACH Grant at NAU provides financial support to aspiring educators, offering additional funding for those in high-need teaching fields. Recipients commit to four years of full-time teaching in a high-need subject at a low-income school after graduation.
Professors who lead with heart
The College of Education's faculty see you as a whole person. They build strong, supportive relationships, lead meaningful community partnerships, and even take some students abroad each year for hands-on learning around the world. Meet the mentors who’ll help you make a difference.
"I highly recommend NAU because they really want you to succeed. They make sure you can go to school, and you can get transportation, get grants, get scholarships. They are really helpful. They give you all of these resources. And it’s a place that feels like home."
