This program requires a two-year commitment from Coconino Community College students (Sophomore year at CCC, Summer Bridges program at NAU, and Junior year at NAU). Selected students will receive two years of fully paid tuition, stipends to offset living costs, and research mentorship at CCC and NAU.

Ya’at’eeh, my name is Feather Eagleman. I am Navajo and Rosebud Sioux from a small community on the Navajo reservation, Tonalea, located in Arizona. I am currently a sophomore pursuing a degree in Biomedical Science to get to my goal of becoming a Physician Assistant. My hobbies include exercising, hanging out with my son, and baking. I have a baby boy, named Chance.

I am from Low Mountain and a Sophomore at Coconino Community College and plan to major in Biomedical Science and minor in Psychology and pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. I have many goals in life including becoming an American Sign Language Interpreter. I enjoy fitness, baking, and ceramics.

Hello, my name is Tyrese Jensen and I am Diné (Navajo). I am in pursuit of a Biomedical Science degree at NAU. Aside from being a student, I am an instructor of hoop dance. I have taught students from toddlers to adults. I love making connections between Navajo traditions and science. It allows me to provide evidence and connection that everything is connected in it’s own way.
