Theresa Drew ’79
Theresa Drew, BS Accountancy, ’79, was named 2017 Charlotte Business Woman of the Year by Queens University. The award recognized women for their “significant sustained contributions to business and the community.” Theresa is the only woman to lead a Big Four accounting firm in Charlotte, NC.

Sharon O’Donnell, BS Education, ‘78, MS Education, ’87, was named the 2017 Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Secondary Principal of the Year. She was one of five principals to receive the Region Elementary or Secondary Principal of the Year award for 2017. She was later selected as Secondary Principal of the Year for her contributions to the educational program in the Department of Defense. This story starts with several guys who lived in Taylor Hall in the 1970s and got to be good friends. They enjoyed the college life that NAU offered: hiking and camping trips; dorm parties; and late-night munchie runs while studying.
