Admissions checklist
To be considered for admission to the SUS
program, students must complete and submit the online application form at NAU’s
Graduate College
website. The required materials
include:
- A statement of intent that includes a description of your interests,
relevant experience, passions, and reasons for why you selected this program.
Remember to make a case for why this is the right program for you and how you
fit with what we are doing.
- Three letters of recommendation (preferably from professors, unless not possible). We really
prefer that these be submitted electronically within the online application
process.
- Official transcript of your undergraduate work. These should be sent
to the graduate college as described in the online application process.
However, you can also send unofficial transcript to the SUS department as you
wait for the official transcripts to arrive.

Deadline
The application deadline for fall is March 15.
