Dilofarid Miskinzod is a Lecturer in the Women’s and Gender Studies Program at Northern Arizona University. She specializes in sexuality, reproductive health, migration, transnational feminisms, qualitative research methods, and Islam with an emphasis on Central Asia. Dr. Miskinzod’s research is located at the intersection of three interdisciplinary fields—gender, public health and medicine from a transnational feminist and global health perspective. Her research focuses on health and life experiences of the left-behind women in Tajikistan and refugee women in the U.S.
