Request a sandbox site
A WordPress sandbox site is a personal practice website where you will develop your WordPress skills. Request a sandbox site through the ITS ServiceNow portal.
Once you receive confirmation that your Sandbox site has been created, complete the following requirements. You may reference the training videos and block details to complete your sandbox site.
Sandbox Requirements
Sandbox sites must contain the following elements before they are considered complete and can be submitted for review:
1. One homepage
For your homepage, please include the following blocks. You can use them in any order you’d like for your content.
- Must contain one H1 and two H2s
- Paragraph block
- Full-width image with text block, full width and centered
- Panels block in a grid layout
- Stat block
- Quote block
2. One hybrid page
For your hybrid page, please include the following blocks. You can use them in any order you’d like for your content.
- Must contain one H1 and two H2s
- Paragraph block
- Left-navigation blocks
- Full-width image with text block, 2/3 and right side
- Panels block in a slider layout
- List block (numbered or bulleted)
- Button
3. Left-navigation page
For the left-nav page, please include the following blocks. You can use them in any order you’d like for your content.
- Must contain one H1, one H2, and two H3s
- Paragraph block
- Left-navigation blocks
- WYSIWYG block
- Panels lite
- Accordion block
- Social media block
4. Forms page
- Add a page title
- Include the left-navigation blocks
- Please create a form using the following fields:
- Name
- Single line answers
- Paragraph box
- Multi-select
All pages must contain:
- Featured image
- Title/H1
- Proper link structure
- Meta titles and meta descriptions
- Alt text on images
Submit completed sandbox
Once you have completed the sandbox requirements, submit your sandbox site for review.
