NAU graduate Raegan Liguori-Reid is pursuing an administration career with the Arizona Department of Corrections.
Raegan Liguori-Reid can now call herself a Lumberjack alumna. She had planned on attending NAU after high school, but family and career steered her in a different direction. Thanks to the flexibility of NAU’s 90/30 program, she eventually returned to pursue a degree. Liguori-Reid, a case manager with the Arizona Department of Corrections, started courses at Estrella Mountain Community College, where she completed 90 credits. She then enrolled at NAU for the final 30 credits she needed to earn a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. “I think the best part of my time with NAU was feeling like I was a part of the NAU community even though I was online,” she says. “Being a student is challenging for anyone, let alone anyone with a job or kids or other responsibilities, and I found myself struggling with my full-time coursework, four kids, my marriage, and my full-time job; but with the support of the professors, coworkers, friends, and family, I was able to complete my degree.”
