Compassion + Action: Social Work Month Recap

Relaunch of Community Partners Council

The purpose of the Social Work Community Partners Council is to maintain a strong link between the professional community and the academic community. CSWE Accreditation Reaffirmation

The NAU Department of Social Work Leadership Team, including the Chair, Associate Chairs, Program Coordinators, and other key personnel have been heavily engaged in BSW and MSW Program reaccreditation since the summer of 2024. This work culminated in the submission of our BSW and MSW self-study documents to our accrediting body, the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), on April 1, 2025, with a 2-day site visit to follow in October of 2025.
