The Interdisciplinary Health (IH) PhD Program is a cross-disciplinary collaborative effort between the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) and the College of Health and Human Services (HHS). This program is designed to educate and train the next generation of health researchers, advocates, and educators with three areas of emphasis: health equity, disability, and psychosocial health. Graduates of the program will be uniquely qualified to lead interdisciplinary research that advances understanding of health equity, disability, and psychosocial health, which are central to important theoretical and practical issues related to population health and health care. The first cohort of students will be admitted for Fall 2018. For more information about the program and application requirements visit our website.
