Classical Studies, Minor

Interested in problems of beauty, justice, the basis of reality, the supernatural, democracy, or empire? Learn how the Greeks and Romans grappled with the very issues we still wrestle with today. In this interdisciplinary minor, students learn about the languages, literature, religion, mythology, philosophy, political history, art and cultural traditions of the Classical world while gaining linguistic and analytical skills that prepare well for careers in teaching, the social sciences, journalism, law, politics, business, computer science, bioscience and medicine.
