NAU scholarships for Arizona Academic Decathletes

This scholarship is for Arizona residents who have participated in regional or state Arizona Academic Decathlons.

Award amount

• $2,000 per academic year

How to apply

• No separate application is required outside of your NAU application for admission. The Arizona Academic Decathlon Association selects recipients and provides their information to NAU.
• This scholarship can be combined with other tuition scholarships if the total does not exceed the cost of tuition.

Eligibility criteria

• Recipient must be an Arizona resident who has participated in the Arizona Academic Decathlon—either regional or state—for at least two years.
• Students must meet the general eligibility requirements for NAU scholarships.

Renewal criteria

• This scholarship is renewable up to four consecutive years, fall and spring semesters only, provided the student meets the renewal criteria each year. The number of semesters/years is contingent upon academic level when the student transfers to NAU.
• Recipients must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Recipients must complete 30 credits every academic year (fall, spring, summer).
