Why IGP?
This one of a kind program allows you to graduate with two undergraduate degrees plus immerse in language and culture outside of the U.S. for one year. IGP scholars graduate with:
- 2 undergraduate degrees from NAU (STEM or Business + Language or Cultural)
- Professional internship experience abroad
- Strong foreign language proficiency
- A fantastic résumé to support any career path imaginable

What to expect
You’ll spend the first 3 years of the program building cultural and professional skills while completing requirements for your STEM or Business degree and Language or Cultural degree. During your 4th year, you’ll get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study abroad in the language you’re learning to provide you with cultural and language immersion, as well as a 5 month internship in your field of study.

The sooner you know you want to pursue Interdisciplinary Global Programs, the better. We recommend applying to IGP the summer before you start your freshman year at NAU.
