Robert Henderson has been a member of the Northern Arizona University Health Sciences faculty since 2006. Prior to NAU he taught at Western Oregon University in the Health Education Department and also served as campus health educator.
Robert has a background in physical and health education and has a graduate degree in health education from Western Oregon University. He has worked in the public health sector as a program coordinator at Northern Arizona Area Health Education Center (NAHEC) and as a program coordinator and grant writer for the Greater Salt Lake Chapter of the American Red Cross. He is currently an active volunteer and leader in several health and environmental organizations within the Flagstaff community.
Robert’s areas of interest and research are varied and include stress management, childhood nutrition, and local food issues.
