Chris Repka joined the NAU Health Sciences Department in the fall of 2014 with an emphasis in the Fitness Wellness major. Prior to NAU, Chris was a Visiting Professor at Skidmore College in the Department of Health and Exercise Sciences. Chris earned his Ph.D. in Sport and Exercise Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado, with a research focus on cancer rehabilitation. During his time there, he served as the Clinical Coordinator of the Rocky Mountain Cancer Rehabilitation Institute, located on Northern Colorado’s campus. Chris also holds an MS in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University and a BS in Exercise Physiology and Sports Psychology from American University. Chris ran track and cross country at AU and was on the collegiate triathlon team at CSU. Because of Chris’s passion for endurance sport, you may find him running on Flagstaff’s incredible mountain trails.
