There are many laws and regulations that dictate who can lobby for NAU. Each level of government has separate lobbyist registrations, regulations, and reporting requirements and there are penalties for not complying with these laws.
The university has a designated lobbyist as well as a small number of authorized lobbyists. These are the only individuals authorized to lobby on behalf of the university.
The External Affairs and Partnerships team has compiled lobbying guidelines for your reference. More information on this topic can be found at the Arizona Secretary of State’s website.
If you have any questions about lobbying please contact the External Affairs and Partnerships team and we will be happy to assist you.
