Celebrating 75 years of musical excellence this year, the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra is the largest and most active performing arts organization in northern Arizona. Though the modern FSO had its formal beginning in 1950, the organization’s story started long before. Read our history here.
Join us for an exhilarating season of orchestral masterpieces!
Experience the vibrant dances of Ginastera, Elgar’s emotive Cello Concerto featuring Karlos Rodriguez, and the enchanting melodies of Swan Lake and La Valse at our opening concert in September.
In October, Enjoy the electrifying energy of Glinka, the serene beauty of Brahms, and Ewazen’s beautiful Concerto for Marimba and String Orchestra showcasing FSO’s principal percussionist.
Early December will bring the annual holiday magic of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Ballet.
Feel the romance on Valentine’s Day with Wagner, Debussy, and Rachmaninoff’s piano brilliance, performed by soloist Adam Żukiewicz.
In March, relive epic superhero battles in a thrilling symphonic showcase.
Finally, celebrate our 75th anniversary with Verdi’s monumental Requiem for our season finale concert in April, which will include the Master Chorale of Flagstaff and NAU Shrine of the Ages Choir.
