Online pathway options

Begin with an 18-credit-hour certificate that will feed into a master’s degree.

English

Please note that the graduate certificate in Professional Writing meets 18 of the 33 credits in the master’s degree, leaving only 15 credits to complete the master’s program. The graduate certificate in Rhetoric, Writing and Digital Media Studies meets 18 of the 36 credits in the master’s degree, leaving only 18 credits to complete the master’s degree.

  • MS Mathematics Education (37 credits)

Please note that the graduate certificate meets 18 of the 37 credits in the MS Mathematics Education, leaving only 19 credits to complete the master’s degree.

Additional admission requirements for the certificate and master’s degree:

  • two years of mathematics teaching experience OR six credits of mathematics teaching methods coursework
  • 23 credits of undergraduate mathematics and statistics coursework at the level of calculus and above with a 3.00 GPA in these courses
