The graduate certificate in Rhetoric, Writing and Digital Media Studies meets 18 of the 36 credits in the master’s degree, leaving only 18 credits to complete the master’s degree.

Additional admission requirements for the certificate and master’s degree:
- two years of mathematics teaching experience OR six credits of mathematics teaching methods coursework
- 23 credits of undergraduate mathematics and statistics coursework at the level of calculus and above with a 3.00 GPA in these courses
