Northern Arizona University advisors can help COE students plan their path to degree completion
NAU advisors can help you determine the courses to take as you pursue your degree. The College of Education has staff and faculty members available for input, to ensure your path to degree completion is on the right track. Whether you’re a new student, transfer student, online student, or continuing student, advising services are available to you.
Undergraduate progression plans
Want to know the course path that will help lead you in the right direction towards your degree? Use a progression plan as a guide.
First year students and undeclared students
All freshmen are advised at the Gateway Student Success Center. Once students reach their sophomore year, they are assigned to an advisor in the College of Education Student Services Office.
COE online and community campus students
Current NAU online and community campus students are encouraged to use NAU’s appointment planner to schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor. Questions can also be asked by emailing or calling your advisor. Not sure who your advisor is? Check your student center in LOUIE.
Continuing and transfer students, sophomore status or above
After their freshmen year, students in the College of Education are automatically assigned to an advisor in the Student Services Office based on their last name.
Please refer to the advisor profiles to find contact information on COE advisors.
Graduate programs of study
Programs of study include a complete set of courses and other work that must be successfully completed before qualifying for a graduate degree, diploma, or certificate.
