Researchers in the Southwest Health Equity Research Collaboration recently completed a 44-page guide for caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, available on their NAU ADRD caregivers project website. The resource guide describes the unique challenges of caregivers in these rural areas and lists the available ADRD services and social support resources. It also lists the services’ exact locations that the researchers pinpointed through GIS mapping. The guide came from the results of their one-year study, where they interviewed caregivers in northern Arizona.

Holly Carroll has been invited to speak at the APTA’s Education Leadership Conference this fall in Atlanta, Georgia! She will be presenting “Supervision regulations and its impact on clinical education and physical therapy practice”. Congratulations!
