International Career Week


February 19-23, 2024

Join the Center for International Education and Career Development for a week of in-person and virtual sessions focused on helping students to prepare for their future professional careers. You’ll gain valuable information that will help you in the job search including resumé workshops, completing a job search, how to navigate an interview, and important federal regulations international students must keep in mind regarding employment. International Career Week is open to all international students and anyone who aspires to work cross-culturally. 1. Professional Photo Sessions

Location: In-person in the North Quad

Date and time: Feb 19–Feb 22, 2024 (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.)

Session description: Get professional photos taken to post on your LinkedIn profile or for other professional endeavors. Participants must sign up using Calendly for an assigned time.

2. Dress for Success

Location: International Pavilion, rooms 104 and 106

Date and time: Feb 19, 2024 (2 p.m. to 6 p.m.)

Session description: International students, it’s time to suit up! At Dress for Success, you can pick out donated professional clothing items that you can wear for job interviews or in the workplace. Space is limited to the first 30 students who RSVP.

3. Finding Your Global Career: The Landscape of Jobs & What Employers Seek in Today’s Professionals

In this webinar hosted by NAU Education Abroad and NAU Career Development, you will learn how to identify and articulate intercultural and transferable skills you gained during your international experience, prepare for interviews, revamp your résumé, and stand out when applying for jobs, graduate programs, grants, etc.
