Join the College of Arts and Letters for an evening celebrating collaborative learning, impactful scholarship, creative activity, and community engagement at the first annual CAL in Action Showcase on March 7 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Ashurst Auditorium. During the first and final half hours of the event, faculty and students will be on hand to discuss and demonstrate some of the work that is contributing to the college’s academic, creative, and artistic footprint and outreach to the NAU & Flagstaff communities.  At 6 p.m., CAL’s Arts and Humanities Fellows will participate in a panel discussion and Q & A, including CCS Assistant Teaching Professor Dr. Kent Linthicum and moderated by our own Dr. Gioia Woods.  Please RVSP using this link so  the organizers can better plan the catering order:  https://qualtrics.nau.edu/jfe/form/SV_8kxuEwBQFQPuSXQ.

Come visit the station for CCS, Project Humanities: Create, Collaborate, and Engage with Comparative Cultural Studies and learn about recent public humanities projects and classes in the department and chat with CCS students and faculty. Students include Ella Connor (Art History and Museum Studies), Kailey Cooper (Comparative Study of Religions), Colin Grosvenor (Comparative Study of Religions) & Joce Dolezal (Public Humanities and Museum Studies). Professors Dr. Gioia Woods, Dr. Becky Pratt-Sturges, and Dr. Diana Murtaugh Coleman will also be there! We’ll have flyers and swag too!

The flyer shows a variety of textured surfaces. The long description repeats the text.
