Congratulations to CCS alum Dr. Jennifer Hunter on her new position at the Institute of Culture, Religion, and World Affairs at Boston University

Congratulations to CCS alum Dr. Jennifer Hunter (B.A. in Religious Studies, 2010) on her appointment as the Assistant Director of the Institute of Culture, Religion, and World Affairs at Boston University!

After graduating from NAU, Dr. Hunter completed a Master of Theological Studies in the Comparative Study of Religion in Late Antiquity at Harvard Divinity School and a Ph.D. in Near and Middle Eastern Studies with a graduate certificate in Feminist Studies, Gender, Women, and Sexuality at the University of Washington. While at the University of Washington, she received several prestigious fellowships, including the Alvord Fellowship in the Humanities. Prior to her new position, she taught courses in the Comparative Study of Religions at NAU from 2013-2018 as  a lecturer. As the Assistant Director at the institute, Dr. Hunter will develop new programs, grant proposals, events, and assist in the management of their colloquia and visiting fellows program.
