Alumni News: Congratulations to CCS alum Dr. Emily Lawhead on her recent publication!

A woman with long hair smiles in a black and white portrait.Dr. Emily Lawhead graduated from NAU in 2016 with a BA in Comparative Cultural Studies with dual emphases in Art History and Asian Studies and minors in Japanese and Museum Studies. She currently serves as the Associate Curator of Modern & Contemporary Art at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. She recently published the article “Continuity: Sharing Space in teamLab’s Digital Ecosystems.” for the journal Arts in 2023. Read about the immersive 2021 exhibition “teamLAB: Continuity” at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, and learn about teamLab, a self-described “ultratechnologist” collective working at the forefront of immersive technology in visual art.
