What’s Your App: boundaryless@NAU App Idea Competition (3/15 to 4/11)
Ever had an idea for an app? What’s Your App is a chance gain insights into the evolving world of apps, learn the basics of problem solving with apps (even if you have some prior experience), get feedback on your app idea, showcase your work, and get continued support after the competition if you wish to continue. La Gran IDEA: New Program and Grant
NAU is partnering with Universidad de Sonora (UNISON) in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico to put on The Big IDEA (La Gran IDEA), which will allow 12 students from each university to collaborate on finding solutions to challenges of food security and financial security in the Arizona/Sonora Megaregion. It is based on Jacks Big IDEA, which is put on by boundaryless@nau.

Think Like an Innovator, Workshop (4/16, 12:00 PM)
Innovation, Creativity, Problem Solving… some of the most valuable skills the world needs right now. In this session we’ll explore 5 strategies for boosting all three. We’ll also discuss potential roadblocks and practical steps you can take to get started today. You’ll leave with a fresh perspective on tackling problems and coming up with novel ideas.

Designing Your Life (4/21, 6 PM)
The semester, and year—and for some of us, our time as NAU students—is soon coming to an end. Have you ever worried about your career and life after school? Want to learn simple strategies that will help you make better decisions and look at the future with less anxiety and more excitement? In this fun and relaxed one-hour workshop we’ll explore simple design strategies and learn how to apply these to life, career, challenges, and decision making.
