We help all students make entrepreneurship and innovation part of a boundless and aspirational NAU experience.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship at NAU

At NAU entrepreneurship reinforces what you learn in class and builds your resume with transferable skills and tangible projects. Boundaryless is here to help you do more than turn ideas into successful startups or nonprofits–we empower students to think and act like innovators and entrepreneurs so they can make a positive mark on the world now and after graduation—whatever field or career path you choose.

We’re passionate about helping students become innovators who turn their ingenuity into meaningful action and value. Learn more about our purpose, vision, and values and what we mean when we say innovation and entrepreneurship are for everyone. Entrepreneurship is an art, and Boundaryless will help you to be more creative with your idea and turns an idea into your startup. Free and open to all women at NAU with aspirations to start a business or side hustle (or an existing business/side hustle). Registration is required and space is limited. Participants receive free training, free business paper filing and support, and a free laptop. Jacks Big IDEA is a problem-solving competition where you can meet new people from across campus, form a team, and tackle real-world challenges by coming up with a solution–all in a weekend. We provide the space, support, food, and materials. Winning teams receive cash awards. Learn more about this student support program that can help you launch and/or grow your side hustle small business! Our student participants are just like you–all majors and backgrounds. They learn valuable life and career skills, build their resumes, and most earn $30+/hour working for themselves on their schedule.

Become a certified innovator and problem solver. Certificates go on your transcripts and look great on a resume and LinkedIn. Check out the courses you can add to your major (many take care of Liberal Studies requirements).

Come On In! The Boundaryless Commons is one of those campus gems. Stop in, hang out, get inspired (or just take a break). We have conferencing tables and tech, workspaces, high-powered PCs for video/photo editing, comfy furniture, and supportive friends and staff.

Events Make the most of your time at NAU and have a great time while you’re at it! We host workshops, speakers, info sessions, lunches, competitions, and much more.
