Research: Dr. Dillingham specializes in experimental condensed matter physics. His current research interests include the characterization of dielectric materials used in capacitors using x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy. In addition, he studies the properties of astrophysical ices using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.
