APMS senior Adrián Luna was recently recognized at an awards banquet for the top students graduating this fall. He is recognized as the Distinguished Senior in the College of Engineering, Informatics, and Applied Sciences. In addition, Adrián is one of the 28 recipients of the Gold Axe Award, given to the most accomplished students across the university, as well as the recipient of the President’s Prize, the most prestigious award for undergraduates at NAU. He will be graduating as a triple major in Physics, Astronomy, and Physics: Secondary Education.
This past April, Adrián presented the results of his research work done with APMS professor Inès Montaño at the 2019 Arizona/NASA Space Grant Statewide Symposium. He is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and love of Physics as a high school teacher.
