Kenneth Wix, BS Arts and Sciences, ’86, passed away on October 20, 2018. After completing his degree, he worked in the insurance industry and met his wife, Donna. Kenneth was an avid supporter of his children’s sports team and enjoyed time spent with his family.

Donald Diers, BS Social & Behavioral Sciences , ’47, passed away on October 13, 2018. Donald was the youngest of nine children in Mason City, IL. He moved to Flagstaff to begin college at NAU. Franklin Allhands ’60
Franklin Allhands, BA Arts and Sciences, ’60, passed away on October 8, 2018 with his three daughters and wife by his side. Franklin moved to Flagstaff from Crawfordsville, IN. After receiving his Bachelors degree, he went on to earn his Masters degree in Counseling. Franklin taught and counseled at-risk teens for 38 years. During retirement, he enjoyed antiquing, gardening and farming.
Paul Zeller ’80
Paul Zeller, BS Business Administration, ’80, passed away on August 25, 2018. Paul moved to Flagstaff in 1977, attended NAU, and met his wife, Julie. They were married for 35 years and enjoyed traveling together. Paul worked as a master plumber and enjoyed skiing in his personal time.

Katie Hobbs, BS Social Work, ’92, was elected as Arizona’s Secretary of State. Prior to the election, Katie served as an Arizona Senator and as a state representative.
