Applying for readmission
Please note that the Application for Readmission is for undergraduates only.
Applying to NAU as a returning or readmitted student
A returning or readmitted student must meet at least one of the following requirements:
- have previously taken graded, credit-bearing coursework at NAU as a degree-seeking student (not including withdrawals) AND have not taken courses at NAU for at least three consecutive fall/spring semesters
- have completed a previous bachelor’s degree at NAU and wish to take additional classes or begin a second bachelor’s degree
- are a former degree-seeking Personalized Learning student who has not been in an active subscription within the last 365 days
Do not fill out the application for readmission if you do not meet the above criteria or if you:
- have been academically suspended from NAU. Contact either the Undergraduate Academic Continuation Committee (UACC) or your advisor by major if you are unsure. Additional academic suspension and reinstatement information is available through University Advising
- are applying for a graduate program. Contact NAU graduate admissions for more information
Online Application for Readmission
The following are required to apply online for readmission:
- a LOUIE login. Visit the password change application tool to obtain your LOUIE ID or to reset your password as needed. For additional assistance in recovering your login details, contact NAU ITS
- official transcripts from any other institution you’ve attended since attendance at NAU, if applicable. These will be utilized to reflect transfer credits
If you are unable to complete the online Application for Readmission, or if you no longer have access to your LOUIE account, you may complete the paper Application for Readmission.
