Author Sara Vladic to visit AWC/NAU-Yuma


Join bestselling author and award-winning filmmaker Sara Vladic when she visits Yuma on Tuesday, February 25, 2019, for two One Book Yuma events. Both events will include community discussions on a book she co-authored: “Indianapolis: The True Story of the Worst Sea Disaster in U.S. Naval History and the Fifty-Year Fight to Exonerate an Innocent Man,” followed by Q & A and book signings.

The first event will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the Yuma Main Library, 2951 South 21st Drive in Yuma. The second event will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Theater Building at the Arizona Western College/Northern Arizona University-Yuma main campus, 2020 South Avenue 8E in Yuma.

The book can be purchased at the AWC  Bookstore and at the events. Copies of the book can also be checked out at the AWC/NAU-Yuma Academic Library and the Yuma County Library.
