NAU–Yuma Social Work students doing homeless outreach along the U.S-Mexico Border. Individuals experiencing homelessness were provided with backpacks containing essential hygiene items and resource cards with contact information for different healthcare clinics. The students also conducted brief surveys on each participant to determine how they’ve been impacted by Covid-19 and what their barriers to resources are. Great job, students!
