Earn a degree in Special Education here at NAU–Yuma!

NAU-Yuma is happy to announce that it is offering 2 degree programs in Special Education: the Bachelors of Science in Special and Elementary Education and the Masters of Education in Special Education with certification. Also, Yuma residents will have an opportunity to apply to a grant-funded Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a Special Education focus.

There continues to be a critical need for special education teachers in the Yuma region and university faculty in special education in Arizona and nationally.  The bachelor’s dual-certification degree provides K through 12th grade special education certification and K through 8th grade in elementary education. The master’s degree results in mild to moderate disabilities certification. You can find detailed information on the programs, contact information, deadlines, and on the public information sessions for these programs by emailing Dr. Prust at Russell.Prust@nau.edu

You can also attend the info meeting on Monday, October 15, 2018 at the AWC downtown center in room DC 170.
