Open doors to a variety of careers with a degree in Administration*
Through the administration program, students will develop basic knowledge and skills that will enable them to hold a variety of administrative and management positions in the private sector. Courses are designed to advance a student’s critical thinking, communication, management, and leadership skills. At the completion of this degree, students will be prepared to enter private sector positions such as sales managers, office managers, and project managers.
This program is designed for students who do not seek a traditional bachelor’s degree in business. Students who want a stronger emphasis on accounting, finance, and economics should consider the Bachelor of Business Administration program.

A degree in Administration is offered through three different degree tracks, allowing students to choose the one that fits them best.
- Bachelor of Applied Science with a specialization in Administration
- Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies: Administration emphasis
- Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies: Administration emphasis
Administration program overview
Bachelor of Applied Science with a specialization in Administration (120 hours). View the course catalog for course offerings.
Students transferring into the program may meet admission requirements by completing an AGEC degree from an Arizona Community College which may satisfy the NAU liberal studies requirement.
Students transferring into the program from California may meet the NAU liberal studies requirement by completing an IGETC at a California community college.
All students must complete the Northern Arizona University ethnic and global diversity requirements. These requirements may be met by completing courses at NAU or at other institutions.
