Summers (June – July): UBMS students participate in a 5-week Summer Academy on the mountain campus of Northern Arizona University
Live in a campus residence hall! Eat in the campus dining hall! Take courses in integrated math & science!
Summer Academy offered courses: Accordion Closed
- Math: Statistics
- Math: ALEKS (self paced & varies by student)
- English: Khan Academy (self paced)
- STEM focused Symposium
- College advising
- Tech Time: 3-D printing, virtual reality & video production
- Foreign Language
- Financial Literacy
The program helps prepare students for their upcoming academic year in high school and provides them with a first-hand sense of what life is like as a college student!!
Students are in classes Monday – Friday, and on the weekends they participate in cultural fieldtrips and recreational activities
