NAU’s Threat Assessment and Management Team

Committed to promoting a safe and secure community

As a part of the commitment to safety and security for our students, staff, faculty, and visitors, NAU has established a multi-disciplinary Threat Assessment and Management Team (TAMT) to evaluate and respond to threatening or potentially violent situations.

Everyone at NAU has a role to play in preventing campus violence. Immediate reporting of concerning behaviors, escalating conflicts, and potentially violent situations is a critical part of the process. The TAMT depends on our communities at every campus throughout the state for early reporting of any such behavior.

  • Conduct, which can range from specific direct threats of violence to concerns about being stalked or acts of intimidation, that causes you to be concerned for your safety or the safety of others.
