NAU offers opt-in fees for 2NAU and Non-Flagstaff Mountain students. You can take advantage of the same services as Flagstaff Mountain students by requesting to opt in for the mandatory tuition fees. You can find more information on what the fees cover on SDAS Additional Fee Descriptions

The access fee is an optional opt-in fee that will allow you to participate in events and receive services at Campus Health Services and Campus Recreation.

The Health and Recreation access fee allows you to utilize Campus Health Services (CHS), including Medical, Counseling, and Campus Recreation services. The fee DOES NOT cover: CHS Service Costs. When you visit a healthcare provider at CHS, there will be additional costs for specific services such as medical consultations, treatments, lab tests, or counseling. These costs are not included in the access fee and need to be paid separately.

You can use the access fee form to submit the opt-in fee request.

Summer: all NAU Flagstaff Mountain students who are not enrolled in a summer session but are eligible to enroll in the future fall term.

Fall, Spring, and Summer: 2NAU students and Non Flagstaff Mountain Campus NAU students.

Yes, to access services, you must pay the full access fee.

Services will be available to you the day after you submit your payment. However, if you have a receipt for full payment, you can show it to staff at the location, and they can provide access to the requested service.

No, because you were charged the mandatory fee, you will not have to pay the access fee to utilize services.
