Tutoring

NAU’s Academic Success Centers (ASCs) offer help to students in the Social Work program

There are two ASC locations on campus in Flagstaff available to help students earning social work degrees. Their mission is to assist students and empower them to excel academically while being engaged with the university. The ASCs offer personalized peer support and resources that build confidence, cultivate independent learning, and foster collaborative connections within the community.

Tutoring Accordion Closed

FREE tutoring services available to NAU students in Social Work programs include one-on-one, drop-in, and online tutors. For more information, please visit the tutoring webpage.

Supplemental instruction Accordion Closed

Supplemental instruction available to students earning social work degrees is a series of peer-facilitated weekly review sessions for students taking difficult and challenging courses. For more information, please visit the supplemental instruction webpage.

Academic mentoring Accordion Closed

Peer mentors are current NAU students who work one-on-one with other NAU students to assist in developing strong study skills. For more information, please visit the academic peer mentoring webpage.

Test prep Accordion Closed

ASCs offer GRE®, GMAT®, and LSAT® test prep assistance with affordable, high-quality instruction. For more information, please visit the test prep webpage.
