CEC Advisory Council initiatives
Council members guide the Dialogue, Knowledge, Action and Reflection goals by participating in 2-4 teleconference and face to face meetings annually. Advisory Councils activities and focus vary and include:
Dialogue Council: Create dialogue on a shared vision of health equity and health equity research among stakeholders representing various sectors of our communities through a consensus building survey of multi sectoral stakeholders and community leaders.
Knowledge Council: Identify and showcase effective community-campus health equity research partnerships through webinars, podcasts, and other interactive events.
Action Council: Foster collaborative health equity research between community organizations and NAU researchers.
Reflection Council: Advise the overall process and outcomes evaluation of the CEC.
