Environmental Sciences and Policy alum Katie Guetz was recently awarded the Ecological Society of America’s Early Career Publication Award in the Restoration category. Katie’s paper, entitled “Prioritizing dams for removal to advance restoration and conservation efforts in the western United States” was published last year in Restoration Ecology, along with her MS advisor Dr. Denielle Perry of the Free-flowing Rivers Lab and two other SES faculty, Dr. Taylor Joyal and Dr. Brett Dickson.
