1st Annual Student Water Symposium
Undergraduate and graduate students in the School organized the 1st Annual Student Water Symposium at NAU this April, with support from faculty member Denielle Perry. Students also presented their work in the symposium, showcasing a wide range of water-related research, including work on climate change, conservation and restoration, and meteorology. Students in the Climate Science & Solutions Master’s program are helping to shape Flagstaff’s climate policy. Wyss & Doris Duke foundations renew student support
“The renewal of the Wyss Scholars for the Conservation of the West project will support students in the environmental science and policy master’s program (ES&P) as they complete their master’s degrees and pursue leadership roles in the field of environmental conservation in the American West.
