Undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and NAU President Cruz Rivera closed out this year’s SACNAS conference – an excellent opportunity for students to experience true diversity and inclusion as they consider next steps in their careers! The delegation included SES PhD student Franklyn Telles, who presented his research on climate change, drought, and dust. Frank is incorporating both climate science and climate curriculum development into his dissertation, which investigates both the origins of dust storms and the health consequences for communities.
