Welcome to the Department of Sociology and Social Work

If you want to have a positive impact on the world around you, a degree in sociology or social work just might be for you. Both sociology and social work are concerned with advancing social justice and human rights.

As a sociology student, you will learn how society works at the interactional, institutional, organizational and social structural levels. You’ll gain knowledge that can benefit you in a variety of future careers.

As a social work student, you’ll be on your way to directly affecting the lives of individuals in a positive way.

While you study, you will work with expert faculty who are always available to help support your academic and career aspirations.
