The Center for Service and Volunteerism received a $1.2 million grant to help over 5,000 high school students in Arizona by launching a statewide AmeriCorps program. The fund will be used to help to increase the on-time graduation rate as well as the postsecondary enrollment rate in areas where these numbers are lower than average.
