The Residential College Program

Letter to Students

The Residential Colleges are available for all first year students who choose to live in the Residence Halls. Through participating in our program, you will have access to a Residential College Ambassador, a student mentor, who is available to meet with you throughout the academic year and provide you with support, tips for success, and to answer questions that you might have. You are assigned to a Residential College based on your major and will also have a Faculty Fellow, a faculty member, from that is in your same college who devotes their time to connecting with you and planning events for you based on your Residential College and sometimes for specific majors. Our goal with the Residential College Program is providing academic resources and support to you as you explore your major, transition to the university, and learn about what success looks like at NAU.
