Housing for students currently living off campus
2018-2019 academic year housing (August 2018 – May 2019) – Applications will be accepted while space is available.
2019 Spring only (January 2019- May 2019)– application opened September 1, 2018.
2019-2020 Academic Year (August 2019-May 2020) – application opens November 1, 2018.
Applying for housing
Housing application Accordion Closed
Log into the housing portal using your NAU user ID and password. Then follow the step-by-step directions to complete your application. Once you submit your application, a $100 non-refundable application fee will be posted to your student LOUIE account to complete your application.
Room selection/assignment Accordion Closed
Room selection is based on your date of housing application. If you applied by May 15, you will be notified of your designated room selection start time through NAU email. At your designated time (or after) you can log back into the housing portal to select your room from any space available at that time.
If you apply after May 15, you will be assigned a room in an upper-division residence hall in late July – early August where space is available.
Housing rent confirmation payment (HRCP) Accordion Closed
- A $175 housing rent confirmation payment (HRCP) is required to hold your space on campus. This payment applies toward your first semester rent.
- The HRCP due by May 15, 2018. If you do not make this payment by the due date, your housing application will be cancelled.
- If you apply after May 15, your HRCP will be due within seven (7) days of your application.
