Cost Share: This workshop will provide an overview of the different types of cost share: committed, committed voluntary, and uncommitted voluntary, and addresses when NAU must track the cost share commitment within the PeopleSoft system and report on it to the sponsor.

An NAU panel will discuss NAU assets for industry engagement, and a panel of industry professionals will discuss how they engage with researchers, what a successful relationship looks like for them, and specific areas for which they’re looking for academic research support. This two-day interactive workshop, sponsored by SHERC, will emphasize planning, drafting, and revising scientific manuscripts for faculty researchers, with the goal of improving the quality of writing for high-impact journals. The workshop is designed for postdoctoral fellows; early-career faculty, including assistant professors; and all other faculty who conduct research in the basic biomedical, clinical, or behavioral sciences and who have not yet published extensively.
