“As a retiree, what I miss most is interacting with students and being on the beautiful mountain campus. I have enjoyed coaching students; I find that they all have unique strengths and challenges. The training to become a Student Success Coach was done by a life coach, although our focus with students is threefold: academics, career exploration, and personal (family, social, roommate, etc.) challenges. I feel very fortunate for the coaching program that allows me to stay connected with students and with NAU.”
