College Curriculum & Assessment Committees

The purpose of each College Curriculum & Assessment Committee, and the Extended Campuses Curriculum Committee, is to evaluate and recommend approval or disapproval to the Provost of their college’s:

  • new undergraduate and graduate courses, programs and degrees,
  • proposed changes in existing courses, programs and degrees, and
  • proposed deletion of courses, programs and degrees.  

In the spring, the committees review Annual Curriculum & Assessment Reports to ensure each academic unit is making consistent progress toward the achievement and/or maintenance of the Degree Program Expectations for all of its academic programs. 

These committees might also take on additional tasks, as determined by the committee. Membership and by-laws for these committees can be found on their college websites.
