Statewide Initiatives and Alliances

Providing access and opportunities across Arizona

The Statewide Initiatives and Alliances (SIA) department provides direction and leadership in advancing the university’s policy and strategic goals related to Statewide and Regional program development and design. SIA also ensures that the systems and processes facilitate support for flexible and market driven offerings and community college transfer plans throughout the Northern, Southeastern, and Central regions of Arizona.

Reporting to the associate vice president, the regional directors and assistant director in Statewide Initiatives and Alliances are responsible for the development and cultivation of student and faculty centric strategic partnerships for the university. These partnerships across government partners, public agencies, tribal nations, and other strategic partners will accelerate enrollment, employment, hands-on skill development, and overall student success and experience.
